Common uses

TXT records are often used for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Google verification, Microsoft 365 verification and other service checks.

Steps

• Log in to cPanel.
• Open Zone Editor.
• Click Manage for the domain.
• Add a TXT record.
• Paste the value exactly as supplied.
• Save the record.

Tip

TXT values are sensitive to missing characters. Copy and paste carefully.
