How to transfer a domain to Righthand Media
Before transferring
- Make sure the domain is eligible for transfer.
- Check the admin contact email is accessible.
- Unlock the domain if required.
- Get the transfer authorisation code if the extension uses one.
During transfer
Some domain transfers complete quickly, while others can take several days depending on the extension and current registrar.

Changing registrar does not automatically move website files or email. Hosting and DNS should be checked before and after the transfer.
