How to change PHP version in cPanel
Before changing
Check that your website software, plugins and themes support the PHP version you want to use.
Steps
- Log in to cPanel.
- Open MultiPHP Manager or PHP settings.
- Select the domain.
- Choose the PHP version.
- Apply the change and test the website.
If the site breaks
Change back to the previous version and check for outdated scripts, plugins or themes.
