How to change your cPanel password

You should use a strong, unique password for cPanel because it controls your hosting account.

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Open Preferences or search for Password & Security.
3. Enter your old password.
4. Enter a new strong password.
5. Confirm the new password and save the change.

Password tips

• Use at least 12 characters.
• Mix letters, numbers and symbols.
• Do not reuse passwords from other websites.
• Store it in a trusted password manager.
